Award Keylogger - the keylogger does not automatically restart when my computer is turn on |
After the computer is turned off, when it is turned back on, the award keylogger software does not automatically restart. I have set it to load, but it doesn't and I have to maually turn it on.
Because the UAC(User Accout Control) of Windows 7/Vista blocked the Award Keylogger(the software needs administrator right) when your OS start up, you have 2 ways to unblock the Award Keylogger:
Option 1) Disable Vista UAC:
a) Open Control Panel.
b) Under User Account and Family settings click on the "Add or remove user account".
c) Click on one of the user accounts.
d) Under the user account click on the "Go to the main User Account page" link.
e) Under "Make changes to your user account" click on the "Change security settings" link.
f) In the "Turn on User Account Control (UAC) to make your computer more secure" click to unselect the "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer". Then click on the Ok button.
g) You will be prompted to reboot your computer.
(To later re enable the UAC option , just select the checkbox in step "g" and reboot).
Option 2) Run Award Keylogger as a Windows Service(doesn't support Windows 98/95)(Recommend)
